Learn the basics: rules, scoring, court positioning, serve, volley, dinking, and basic strategies.
A player finishing this class should be ready to go out and play a social game with friends, but will likely be very inconsistent and have minimal knowledge of strategies
This will be a one-time class, two hours long.
(Players who have completed Intro to Pickleball or played a little bit socially but haven’t received any instruction)
Review, refine, and reenforce the basics: rules, scoring, court positioning, serve, volley, dinking, and basic strategies. Proactive apology strategy. Ready stance. Court etiquette. Hinge shot technique. Body preparation for play.
Recommended for new players, or players who have completed the Intro to Pickleball, or started playing socially but lack formal instruction.

Continued skill development on techniques and strategies as well as drills to help improve every area on the court. Transition zone movement. Emphasis on balance and controlled shots. Holding the line. Introduction to footwork. Paddle prep. Ground strokes, dinks & volleys. Lob strategies, serve & return, 3rd shot drop, transition zone. Learning to defend yourself.
(Level 3.2 – 3.8)
Strategic advancement to the non-volley zone.
Introduction to attacks, speed ups.
Understanding offense, defense, unforced errors.
Working on location of drives.
How to build drilling into rec play.
Development of split step, stabilized base, proper weight distribution, shot selection.
Roll dinks
By reservation only (3 people) A one-hour clinic/play session recommended for families or groups of various skill levels and/or ages to learn and improve pickleball skills while playing with an instructor.
By reservation only. Recommended for players, couples or partners looking for individual instruction. Lessons will be dictated by the player.
